1) கடவுள் கல்லில் இல்லை, கருணை உள்ளவன் இதயத்தில்.

குரூப் - 2 தேர்வுக்கு இலவச பயிற்சி

தமிழ்நாடு அரசு பணியாளர்  தேர்வாணையத்தால்
நடத்தப்படும் குரூப்-2 தேர்வு வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் 12ம்
தேதி நடத்தப்பகிறது.

இப்போட்டி தேர்வு எழுத விண்ணப்பித்த மனுதாரர்களுக்கு
பயிற்சி அளிக்கும் விதமாக இலவச பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள்
மாவட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்பு அலுவலக தன்னார்வ பயிலும் வட்டம்
மூலம் நடத்தப்பட உள்ளது.

இந்த இலவச பயிற்சி வகுப்பில் சேர விருப்பம் உள்ளவர்கள்
வருகிற 18ம் (18-July-2012) தேதிக்குள் சாந்தோம் வேலைவாய்ப்பு அலுவலக 
உதவி இயக்குனரிடம் தங்களது விருப்பத்தை நேரில் தெரிவிக்க
வேண்டும்.

Borland C++ 5.5 - Compilation warning - Call to function with no prototype in function

I have created following simple C program and compiled with Borland C++ compiler.


#include <stdio.h>
void Printme(){
printf("Hello World\n");
}
void main()
{
Printme();
}

Compiler compiled but returns warning

"Call to function 'Printme' with no prototype in function main"


When i search in internet, I coudnt get any useful information.

After long struggle, i found that the source code should be

void Printme(void){
printf("Hello World\n");
}
void main()
{
Printme();
}

Print last field of the text file.

Here 'NF' <-- Number of fields.

Try this
-------
awk -F'i' '{print $NF}' test.txt
cut -d':' -f1 test.txt

 Count the number of occurence of perticular word from file
 ==========================================================
 awk '{for (i=1;i<=NF;i++)if ( $i == "kumar")c++}END{print c}' test.txt

List of ksh commands

Search string in sub-folders: grep match-word  *\*   (instead of "grep -r match-word .")

Solaris OS

Recently I got an assignment related to Solaris operating system version 10. I explored some of the interesting and useful commands. Here I wish to share these with you.


1) The command which is used to identify the status of services is

svcs -a

this command will list all the status of the services.

Example:

Below command is used to find the status of finger service.

svcs -a | grep finger


output:
online : svc:/network/finger

Here online represents "Running" otherwise It will be "offline".

2) The command which is used to disable the services is svcadm.

below command will stop / disable the finger service in your machine.


svcadm disable network/finger

வேறொருவர் உங்கள் வாக்கை செலுத்தி இருந்தால்

வாக்களிக்க செல்லும் போது ஏற்கெனவே உங்களுடைய பெயரில் வேறு யாரேனும் வாக்களித்து இருந்தால் அந்த தகவல் உங்களுக்கு தெரிவுக்கப்படும்.

நீங்கள் வாக்களிக்கவில்லை   என்பதை  தேர்தல் அதிகாரியின் கவனத்துக்கு கொண்டு சென்றால் தேர்தல்   சட்டத்தின் '49 B' பிரிவின்படி வாக்கு சீட்டு தரப்படும்.

இதன் பிறகு வாக்கு சீட்டு முலம் வாக்களிக்கலாம். இந்த சீட்டுகள் தனியாக ஒரு கவரில் வைக்கப்படும். இதற்கு டெண்டர் வாக்குகள் எனப் பெயர்.

மிகக் குறைந்த வாக்கு வித்தியாசத்தில் வெற்றி இருக்கும் போது மட்டும் இந்த வாக்குகள் எண்ணப்படும்.
